Couldn’t put the book down. And could this make the disorientation, fragmentation, and conflict which Strieber displays in his attempts to come to grips with his experiences an integral part of the meaning which “the visitors” wish to communicate to us?

Strieber presents his claim to have witnessed the Whitman shooting in Communion in the context of alien abduction screen memories, expressing puzzlement at having repeated this false claim over the years.
